David and Melanie met through a mutual friend almost eighteen years ago. David knowing he didn’t want to let a great opportunity pass by, asked Melanie on a date. They immediately hit it off and were by each other’s side from the first date on, married a few months later. They consider each other their best friends.
David and Melanie have four beautiful children, Elianna, Elizabeth, Emylie and Michael. Elianna is an awesome big sister. Being theoldest child has its own set of responsibilities and Elianna handles the role very well. She is quick to help and quit often does so without being asked. Elizabeth joined their family in the Lords time. Melanie experienced some medical issues and a miscarriage before they were able to welcome Elizabeth. Elizabeth is full of fun and giggles. She is also a great help and has a tender heart. Elizabeth was 2 years old when Emylie joined the family. When Melanie was 18 weeks along in her pregnancy she found out that Emylie had Spina Bifida and Arnold Chiari II Malformation. While David and Melanie were nervous and uncertain for the future they felt peace and comfort that everything would work out and be okay. A few years later Emylie became a big sister when Michael joined the family.
We enjoy playing games, going for walks, making crafts, baking, visiting with family and friends, making silly videos together and any other adventures we can go on. We love being together!
