Little Miracle Discount Cards

Our first fundraiser for Emylie...

We are putting together a buy one get one/discount card to sell to families in the area. We are currently contacting local businesses to see if they would like to participate. Once we have the all the businesses lined up we will get the cards printed and then out to be sold. The cards are going to be great! We will let you know as soon as you can get one, so check back soon!

Why a converted van?

Emylie's power wheelchair gives her independence. Currently Emylie's family does not have a vehicle capable to transport her powered wheelchair. So when the family goes places Emylie uses her manual wheelchair. Emylie quickly tires while using the manual chair and requests assistance (becoming more dependent) or if she is on her ventilator she becomes dependent again relying on her mom or another caregiver to walk alongside with her ventilator. Emylie's powered wheelchair will hold all of her equipment and allows her the ability to be as independent as possible in her mobility. Activities as simple as going to the grocery store with her mom or going to the park or zoo will be more likely and enjoyable for Emylie if she is able to go in her power chair. She also would have the ability to be picked up from school or checked out early instead of missing a full day because of appointments. There are so many possibilities a converted van will open up for Emylie.
